Good afternoon,
I am a very experienced user in Windows and I'm trying to broaden my experience to linux. I just installed 7.1 (Workgroup) on a new partion and am double booting. However, I cannot get my @home cable modem to work. @home said that they do not support linux and I have already put in all of the ip's, DNS's, Gateway's, etc. I believe that my ethernet card is woking, but im not positive. I am using the Gnome GUI. Please wrtie back or direct me to a link for help.

Thanks in advance,
Ben
