I have used RH6.2, 7 and now 7.1. Im am still a newbie by far but I know my way a little. Anyway, I cant find linuxconf in RH 7.1 or userconf. Im sure they are in there, do i need to go to a specific dir or do i need to install something special. Thanks
Did you perform a search or find for them?
Maybe it wasn't installed on the initial install. I am not familiar with 7.1 but check on your dics for them, if they are there, you can install them from there I am sure.
Might want to check out http://www.redhat.com and see if they made any changes that would do this.
ooops, you posted twice the same question. don't do that, this is being answered in the General forum.
as much as i heard or know, linuxconf is not recommended by open source affiliates or whatever, i think due to the lack of dependability, security and what not else. i personally don't use it and would rather edit by hand.
