slack 8

ARGH!!!

i can find nowhere where i can get the new slack 8!!!!!!!

i can't download it (their ftp only supports 500 connections and i have a diddy modem) and i can find no places in england that have copies to sell. I've tried www.linuxemporium.co.uk and
www.cheeplinux.co.uk , does anybody know of any other english sites that might have it?

Alex

P.S. im slightly annoyed coz i spent weeks updating things and making a mess of it just to find that a new version has come out! Grrrr!

yeah that would be cool. tell me when you get it and i tell you if im interested. im off on holiday for about a week and when i get back maybe places in england will have it.

that would save you the hassle (and the cost) of sending it here.

ill tell you though if i do need it

cheers

Same offer from me if you want... I should be getting a copy soon and can make it available if you wish. As I'm in the UK it ain't gonna cost much to get it to you either... clearly this if Trickykid gets his copy first then he'd be a faster source.

cheers

Jamie...
