Question


I downloaded a program zzplayer-0.8.tar.bz2..bz2 I uncompressed it using bunzip2 and it became zzplayer-0.8.tar.bz2 When i again tried to uncompress it using bunzip2, i got an error message that it was not a valid bunzip2 file.how can i uncompress it and install the program.

Well it sounds like it did untar it and created a direcotry called the same thing as the file. You need to then cd into the zzplayer-0.8.tar.bz2 directory and then complete your install from there. They should have installation or readme files with the program with instructions on how to finish the install.
