Question

Hi,

I'm going to build an application that will open telnet session to a remote host and perform some actions on it. I'm looking for a tool that will help me doing it. Any recommendation?

Thanks,
Kobi.

You may want to consider using ssh. You can setup a key pair so logins will not require intervention. You may also want to consider using expect.

Although it's not as secure as ssh, rsh would be much easier to use then telnet.
