I was using my comp/server to telnet to the main
server in the same network...i was editing some files when the server suddenly got hanged...so i couldnt do anything but to reboot it....and when i finally logged on to my server, i found out that when i tried to ping to another host in the network, i got this:
from bonggo (x.x.x.x): Destination Host Unreachable
i still can ping myself...but now i couldnt ping /telnet to all the hosts in the network!!
why is this happening???help me!! i'm using redhat linux ....
i'm sorry for not checking the logs first...but can i ask a question before i check them? well, which log file should i check first for the error? there are so many log files under /var/log...
ok..i've checked the messages log, but couldnt find anything that might help..everything seems about the same...but then, i'm not really familiar with the error messages in /var/log...i'm a newbie after all
