Cool

Has anyone or does anyone know how to get a Quake 3 Team Arena Server running on Linux?

I have the lastest updates (1.27g) and can get a Quake 3 Arena server running. I have downloaded a patch that made a missionpack directory in my Quake 3 directory (in Windoze, this is what happened when I installed Team Arena there).

If anyone knows of a GOOD resource for doing this, or knows how to, or has done it themselves, or knows why the sky is blue and why gas prices are so high ( j/k for the last two), please post it. BTW, I know it can be done because there are Linux servers out there right now running games. (Just my luck that they might huge clusters running ON the internet backbones... ).

Thanx!

Lightbulb That's one I used....

That was one of the resources I used to get a Quake 3 dedicated server up and running. Now I am shooting for bigger and better with Team Arena. Did you find any Team Arena specific websites?
