Where are the files for google drive etc stored

Whenever I download a PDF from someone it won't open in chrome by default so it launches adobe reader. When I'm done with the document it still appears to be on my device after closing because I can go into the recently opened documents and open it again. It even opens when I don't have an internet connection so These files are being stored somewhere. Where can I find these files so I can delete them because I don't want them to build up and use a lot of memory since I open PDF documents from the browser often.
I have a NEXUS 7 tablet running jellybean
